Guided Imagery and Trivia Stressbuster!
Wednesday April 14th 2021 - 6-7pm Join the Psychology Society and Tamara Rivers for a guided imagery to help ground yourself before the start of exams! Afterwards, we’ll play a Kahoot filled with general and random trivia. Here you’ll have the chance to win some awesome local prizes, like a gift card to Play with Clay or Breadbar and some online choices as well for those of you outside of Guelph! BONUS: if you attend this event you get entered for a chance to win our end of semester raffle for a mystery prize! |

Self-Compassion Workshop and Stressbuster
Monday, March 29th, 2021 - 12pm-1pm Join our First Year Reps on Monday for a workshop and stressbuster all about self-compassion and why it's so important to practice! We'll be engaging in an interactive self-compassion activity (materials for which are on the second slide!) and then we'll end the session off with a game of "PSYCH!" for a chance to win a $25 GIFT CARD! A fun night dedicated to painting and spending some time de-stressing from the world of midterms. Join us for a guided tutorial of one of Bob Ross’ paintings, where you’ll use any creative materials you already have at home and follow along with our Academic Coordinators. Join the Psychology Society as we embrace the Halloween spirit and decorate your own pumpkins! You can carve, paint, or even paper mache your pumpkin. Roads to Success (feat. Dr. Naseem Al-Aidroos)
An online Microsoft Teams event to describe the differences in the University of Guelph Undergrad Psychology program, non thesis vs thesis. Event is catered psychology students, specially third year psych students. Both pathways to success will be discussed, along with having psychology professor Naseem Al-Aidroos on the online meeting to answer any questions attendees may have.
